Done Right

Our Paver Sealing Process in Brevard County

Sealing pavers is more than spraying on a coat. We follow a proven four-step process that holds up to the Florida sun and rain.

Clean

A thorough deep clean removes dirt, mold, algae and the old, broken-down sealer so we start fresh.

Neutralize

We neutralize the surface so the pavers are balanced and ready to bond with new joint sand and sealer.

Sand

Fresh joint sand is swept into the lines to lock the pavers in place and create an even base for the seal.

Seal

A quality sealer protects the pavers, enriches the color and guards against stains, weeds and fading.

We do not use polymeric sand.
For the sanding step we use standard joint sand, never polymeric sand. It is the right choice for sealed paver systems in our Florida climate and avoids the hazing and hardening problems polymeric sand can cause under a sealer.

Meet the Owner

Meet Jeremy, Owner-Operator Since 2014

Hi, I’m Jeremy. I started cleaning exteriors here on the Space Coast back in 2014, and in 2015 I made it official as Renew & Restore Exterior Cleaning, LLC. Since then I’ve built this business one driveway, one roof and one happy neighbor at a time.

When you call, you get me, not a call center or a rotating crew of strangers. I show up, I do the work right, and I treat your home like it’s my own.

Good to Know

Pressure Washing FAQs

They are two different tools, and the right one depends on the surface. Pressure washing uses a strong flow of water for hard surfaces like concrete driveways and sidewalks. Soft washing uses low pressure and a safe cleaning mix instead of force, which is the right call for roofs, stucco, and screen cages. Here in Brevard County, one home often has all of these. A house in Suntree or Viera might have a tile roof, a paver pool deck, and stucco walls, each needing a different touch. We match the method to the surface, so a delicate lanai screen and a tough concrete driveway both get cleaned the right way, with no damage.

No. We never blast a roof with high pressure, because that can crack tiles and strip the grit off shingles. Across the Space Coast you see both kinds, clay and concrete tile on many Viera and Suntree homes, and shingles on most others, and we soft wash both. That means low pressure and a cleaning mix that kills the algae and rinses the streaks away. The black streaks so common on Brevard County roofs are a living algae, not dirt, and our salt air and humidity help it spread. Our soft wash removes it at the root, so the roof stays clean longer, and the gentle method protects the warranty that high pressure can void.

Most Brevard County homes do well with a wash about once a year, and some need it sooner. Our Space Coast weather stays warm and damp most of the year, which is just what mold and algae need. Homes near the Indian River Lagoon or out on the beaches in Indialantic, Satellite Beach, or Cocoa Beach also fight salt in the air, and salt traps dirt and moisture on walls. If your home sits in the shade or under oaks, like many older Eau Gallie and Rockledge lots, green growth comes back faster. A good check is the north side of the house. When you see green or black starting, it is time, and we can set a yearly visit so you never have to track it.

No. When we seal pavers, we re-sand the joints with standard joint sand, never polymeric sand. Paver pool decks and lanais are everywhere in Brevard County, and our heat and humidity are hard on them. Polymeric sand hardens when it gets wet, and under a sealer in our Space Coast climate it can haze, crack, or trap moisture, leaving a cloudy look. Standard joint sand is the right match for a sealed paver system. It fills the joints, locks the pavers in place, and lets the sealer do its job. Our full process is clean, neutralize, sand, and seal, in that order, and using the correct sand is a big reason our sealed pavers hold their color through the long Florida summers.

Often, yes, though it depends on the stain. Rust stains are very common on Brevard driveways, and many of them come from sprinkler water. A lot of homes here, especially in Palm Bay and the more rural west side of the county, run on well water that carries iron, and it leaves orange stains on concrete and pavers. Oil and grease show up too. A normal wash will not lift these. They need the right treatment, time to work in, and a careful rinse. Most rust and oil stains come out or fade a great deal. Very old, deep stains may not vanish all the way, and we will tell you that honestly before we start.

Yes. Almost every Brevard County home with a pool has a screen cage or lanai, and they get dirty fast in our climate. Mold, pollen, and dust settle on the screens and the frame, and our heavy lovebug seasons in spring and fall make it worse. A dirty cage looks dingy and blocks your view of the pool and yard. We clean screen enclosures with a gentle, low-pressure method, never a blast that can tear screens or bend the aluminum frame. Our soft wash lifts the grime off so the cage looks bright again. Many Space Coast homeowners have us clean the cage along with a full house wash, since both take a beating from the same salt air and growth.

Yes, when it is done with care, and that is how we work. The cleaning mixes we use are made for house and roof washing, and we control exactly where they go. Before we start, we wet down your landscaping, and Brevard yards are full of plants that matter, from palms and hibiscus to the lawn, so they are protected, and we rinse everything again when we finish. We keep our mix at the right strength for each job, never stronger than needed. We just ask that pets stay inside while we work. Once everything is rinsed and dry, your yard, plants, and pets are fine. Keeping your Space Coast home and family safe is part of doing the job right.

Renew & Restore is owner-operated, so the person who quotes your job is the same person who does the work. Jeremy started cleaning exteriors on the Space Coast in 2014 and made it official as Renew & Restore Exterior Cleaning, LLC in 2015. We are fully licensed and insured. Because we live and work here in Brevard County, we know what our salt air, lagoon humidity, and summer storms do to local homes, and we know the right way to clean tile roofs, stucco, pavers, and screen cages. We are not a national crew passing through. We are your neighbors, and we treat your home the way we would want ours treated, from Titusville down to Palm Bay.
